Mechanics
I am experienced in both manually controlled and remote controlled mechanics.
Cassiopeia
A remote controlled turtle, who played an important character in The Royal Danish Theatre’s children’s opera “Momo and the time theives”. I made the mechanics which made it walk, move its head and wag its tail.
Design by scenographer Palle Steen Christensen, Stine Worsøe did the exterior part of the puppet.
“Bang”-flag gun
I have made two of these for Singin’ in the Rain at Det Ny Teater and another performance at Bellevue Teatret.
Growing flower
First remote controlled mechanics I made. It was for “Kierkegaard - er du også i tvivl” in my third year at The Danish National School of Performing Arts. I’ve loved doing mechs ever since!
Mechanical owl
In 2015 I made a remote controlled owl who could point its wings to the guilty part of a trial, and who had a fit of rage. It played the character of the Judge in the performance “Lars von Trier” in Teater V.
